Silver Sulfadiazine with Chlorhexidine cream

Chlorhexidine gluconate solution B.P. eq. to Chlorhexidine gluconate 0.20 % w/w
Cream base: q.s.
Sulfadiazine silver has broad antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria including Pseudomonas aeruginosa and some yeasts and fungi.
It has been suggested that the presence of chlorhexidine in subminimal inhibitory concentrations does not alter the cell membrane sufficiently to permit the efflux of nitrogen bases, nucleotides and nucleosides, but the alteration is sufficient to permit the entry of sulfadiazine molecules. The combination of these two drugs may be bactericidal.
For the treatment of burns, skin grafts, incisions, leg ulcers and other clean lesions, abrasions minor skin cuts and wounds. Sildin cream is especially indicated in the treatment and prophylaxis of infections in serious burn victims.
